Inktober Day 29 - Lesson
what's funny about Person of Interest (2011) is that not once (at least not as far as i've got into the series) have John and Harold figured out that if John just...stops wearinb the suit and wears different clothes the cops, victims and witnesses will stop reporting a "man in a suit" at every crime scene
GODDDD Firewall (s1 finale) is actually so fucking funny when you know that the twist is Root putting a hit on herself. Her alias is caroline TURING. she does a whole fake therapy session with John,, at one point she's like wow mr paranoid man are you former military and he's like yeah, good guess!! girl,,,, she was just playing with her food.
She eats lunch (a bigass brownie, because she has the diet of a twelve year old) in the most open courtyard imaginable, makes John's hiding spot (you can see her glance right at him for a second) and then spends the rest of her lunch looking around all Nervous.
When they get to the hotel she's like "oh my god is this what panic feels like" and when John hands her some chocolate she's like "oh will this create an adrenaline response to level out the panic?" he just says. no. but it tastes good. (The Machine views Root as a yellow Primary Asset square as soon as they enter the hotel it's so funny)
She waits until the last possible second to hack the elevator for their escape, just to see what John and Finch do when put into a corner.
Her idea of furnishing a fake office is to put a picture of a dude from a medicine ad in a picture frame.
She runs down 20+ flights of stairs IN HEELS???
and then when John sends her down the tunnel to Harold she looks him straight in the eye and very earnestly says Thank You because she is polite!! even if her next action is to shoot a woman in the passenger seat of Harold's car.
SHE DESCRIBES PUTTING A HIT ON HERSELF AS A CORPORATE RETREAT TRUST FALL
she's so deeply unserious I'm obsessed with her

I started watching Person of Interest fully expecting big action man in a suit saving people, I was not expecting the most delectable crazy bitch x crazy bitch lesbian ships I've even seen
I absolutely love the running gag of "meanwhile Fusco is starring in an action movie of his own across town." It truly never gets old. Fusco is saving a supermodel from a shoot out with a dozen armed men? Fusco is diffusing a bomb? Sure, why not! What the fuck can't he do.
Did this a while ago.

Person of Interest 2.01 I "I think you've got me wrong, Harold."
every time I read the words 'submissive like a guard dog' I think of John Reese from person of interest. that's exactly his vibe with Harold. nobody is doing it quite like him
I've been rewatching the show lately, had to get this out of my system
They're so perfect for each other. Person of Interest S2E16: Relevance
rewatching person of interest in 2026 makes you realize how ahead of its time that show really was, and also how lame the actual ai apocalypse is. where are the beautiful woman ais trying to kill me ?
