Omg big news for the Lego bois! Just as I was taking some footage of them (which will soon appear on my blog too) I heard something falling through the mailbox… let’s see what or who it is, shall we?

The bois are all holding happy hands in polyculeland when suddenly…

GASP! The door is suddenly thrown open by the Force! Who could have possibly been so strong with the Force that they can open such a gigantic door? 😱

That’s right! At long last, the final member of the polycule is here! None other than Darth Vader has come to personally reclaim Mini Tarkin’s hand!

And with the ceremonial gay eye contact and hand holding, Vader is accepted into the polycule!

It seems that Mini!Tarkin has a gift for his beloved TK… just close your eyes for a moment, Emil, you’ll soon get to see it…

Tah-daaaaaah!!! While Christmas gift shopping, I found a TIE fighter set that, while it was awesome, was really expensive. But, I did really want a LEGO TIE fighter at some point… so I formed up a plan. Looking at the building instructions, I realised that I owned most of the parts already… so, I managed to order the missing parts online for a fraction of the price of a whole TIE fighter set! (This is also a reason why some of the parts may look a bit Frankensteined together or some bits are the wrong shade of grey, I had to use what I had.) But of course Mini insists that the ship was constructed under his orders 😉 You know what, if it makes him feel better, then let’s keep it that way.

Some more pics of the ship and one of its sides (the other wing is a bit more chaotic because I began to run out of pieces at that point.)

And finally, installing TK! This has to be quite the stepup from his normal duties I’m sure 🤭 but Tarkin will get him any promotion necessary so that he has the clearance to pilot one of these bad boys

Built the Carrion Spike for LEGO!Tarkin! It was a bit trial and error since I didn’t have any instructions, but I’m glad with the result.

Merry Christmas from the Yarn Lads, LEGO squad, action figures, duckies and plushies!

So, Mini-421 wanted to take his new TIE fighter out for a little trip… but he felt like he was being watched! 😱 Luckily, Mini Tarkin is here to investigate with him! Their spy has to be hiding behind that back wing…

GASP!! To Emil, this mysterious person is a complete stranger but the same cannot be said for Tarkin, who suddenly feels a surge of emotions going through him… could it really be…?

Emil wants to protect his Grand Moff, but Tarkin tells him okay as he steps forward… and after one look in each other’s eyes, Tarkin indeed realises that his long lost love has returned to him… and they share a little LEGO kiss! Welcome, Mini Dooku! That’s right, I finally found him at Comic Con!!! (Pics from my adventures there to be found here :D)

And after the necessary explaining, Emil is happy to welcome his new friend and member of the polycule to the group! Friendly handshake time :D

I also rebuilt the squad’s little spaceship so that there’s space for Dooku (and a mysterious future fourth member 😉) to hang out! (That brick with the Republic sigil is a bit awkward now lol… I know it should be one for the Empire in the first place but I don’t own a sticker like that and I just find the addition rather charming 😅 maybe it’s an older ship Mini Tarkin keeps for nostalgia’s sake?)

But, that wasn’t the only Dooku related thing I bought at Comic Con! I also bought this larger Dooku figure and I think it looks so badass in this pose! He’ll be protecting Mini-421’s TIE-fighter with all his might.

And the final other things I bought at the convention. A whole lot of laptop stickers, plushies of some of my favourite Pokèmon and a TK-421 Stormtrooper cookie cutter! Should be a nice pairing with my Death Star cutter 🤭

Oh my god, a catastrophe! Mini!Tarkin found by TK-421 and G7, absolutely exhausted and fallen over after an adventurous escapade! What could we possibly do to get him healthy again?

A surprise entrance! It’s… the return of 2-1B…? 😱😱

That’s right, Dooku’s medical droid has made their return in anticipation of their master hopefully joining the squad soon! And knowing Tarkin… they probably thought it was best to arrive early (perhaps to Tarkin’s dismay 🫣). A little pat on the head and our LEGO Grand Moff’s good as new!

I also built this little platform for all of the droids to hang out on so I can place them next to Tarkin and TK’s little spaceship. It’s also good that 2-1B is here now so they can shut Z9 up whenever necessary 🤣

And as a sidenote, I found these gorgeous archway pieces lying around and decided it would make for such a cute piece for Tarkin and Emil to be for a little date 🥰 I’m probably going to make the thing taller so they have more head room and add some flowers/embellishments to make it pretty. I’ll probably have to make it a bit larget when the rest of the polycule arrives too, haha 🤭

I got my hands on this little kitty figure from one of my uni professors as a joke… I’ve named him Wilbur for irony’s sake. (Look at him tho what a tiny cutie!)

I’ve given him to the Tarkin family since they’re fellow figures… Mini can even pet the boyo 💖

He seems to fit right in, although I think he sees Yarnkin as a little yarn ball to play with 😱🧶

Omfg I totally forgot to post about this but MY NECA DRAC HAS FINALLY ARRIVED LAST WEEK!!! (My shipment had some delays)

LOOK AT HIM!!!! (Plus all the othet swap-out limbs and accessories. I switched out the calm head which he has on when in his box with the medium feral head.)

He’s so big compared to my other action figures it’s hilarious

Also, behave yourself, Mini!Tarkin.

And meeting the duckies of course. I tried to sit them down for a wholesome family gathering but it looks more like an AA session lmfao
