Thor chuckled, looking down at the wilting sapling of baldursbrá at his feet. It paled in comparison to it’s surroundings, the gardens of Asgard would likely always trump it if it were left to his hand. “This was meant to teach me something, wasn’t it? Surely not just a feat of gardening.”
He leaned down to reach out a cautious hand, touching the unhealthy petal in thought. “Perhaps we should go over the lesson again?” He looked up with a tentative smile.
She gave a soft laugh, shaking her head. Hands folded neatly in front of her. “You always assume that there is an under lying lesson in everything I try and teach you,” she placed a soft hand to his cheek. “Not everything needs a double meaning you know.”
Her head tilted slight as her hand dropped back to her side. “but if you insist we can go over it again,” she was merely teasing him in all fairness. But her words did hold truth, Thor did tend to look to much into detail on things that did not need doing so.
