Clearly I need to drink more coffee this morning because I read "How Did Sauron Get to Numenor?" as "How Did Sauron Get This Number?" And now I'm picturing somebody, probably Aragorn, shouting that at the palantír before dropping it.
This makes me unreasonably happy.

Yeah I have NO CLUE WHERE SHE GOT HER INFO
She says she got it from a youtube video and I'm just ah yes so reliable
She hasn't got back to me since I broke it down for her though so who knows maybe she just stopped caring
mini-google said: Malt powder is quite frequently near Ovaltine and other drink powders in stores (e.g. hot chocolate, Nesquick, instant breakfast). Carnation makes malt powder. There’s usually another brand near it as well, but Carnation is one of them.
Ohhhh, all righty, good to know! I'll keep an eye out for it then. Thanks!
Here's the recipe for yooooou~
Malted Milk Rounds Recipe
Malted milk powder is a pain to blend into wet ingredients because it likes to stay lumpy, so when you make the frosting, try to blend it in the best you can, but don’t worry about the lumps too much because once you start throwing in the powdered sugar, it mixes together just fine.
Ahhh awesome, thank you!
I was gonna go to your askbox direct BUT YOU DON'T HAVE IT OPEN, YOU FOOL!!
Now if only I can find some malt.
Jasmine tea!
An unpopular opinion that I have
Ahhh. Hm. That's a hard one. How much trouble do I want to get into and how much do I want to potentially alienate my friends?
Well. How about this. I don't think cannibalism in and of itself is immoral. If you kill someone solely with intent to eat them then it's immoral because you just killed someone. But. Incidental cannibalism or cultural or even just doing so with consent of the dinner just doesn't strike me as particularly immoral. It causes no harm, unless you go for the brain or the liver or certain parts of the digestive system and get yourself sick. And that's basically my yardstick for morality- what harm does it cause to yourself and/or people outside yourself?
If you were a dragon, your lair would be an aviary and you would be hoarding and caring for thousands upon thousands of cute chubby birds.
This is so accurate it hurts
Shawna + Indie = Shindy. Why the y? Because shindy is an actual word that acts as a spelling alternative to shindig so WHY THE HELL NOT? I REGRET NOTHING~
omfg BEAUTIFUL
Makes us sound like some sort of country-swing nightclub or something. Come one come all to the ~Shindy~
