Miniature Superman
US$25.00
Crocheted in sewingthread, this hero in red and blue stands only 1" tall. A perfect pocketpal for you or as a companion to your doll!
The painted Kett and Goliath. I am still working on my camo.
Finished the Tamiya Panzer 38(t). Can’t recommend this model highly enough. A really enjoyable build.
Picked up a nice Corgi 1/50 scale Cromwell Centaur Mk IV with 90mm Howitzer. Came prepainted and needed very little detailing.
My Spidora
So yes. Today didn’t go as expected. I woke up at 630 and skipped my shower because I was cold. I got dressed and felt not so great. Like physically I was okay, and I slept for 9 hours. But I had terribly vivid dreams that made me feel so great. But I pulled it together and went to the train. I decided to park at trevose and when I got there I sat in my car and waited and then the speaker made an announcement that the 748 train was canceled. Seriously? Really? I was so confused and mad and it said the next one wouldn’t be until 830. Which yes I could have taken and yes maybe I could have driven. But I basically took this as a sign to take the day off. I would have been incredibly late and it would have been terrible.
I still feel sort of guilty and I hate that I am not going to get paid but I haven’t taken a day off since the beginning of summer. And I was super productive today.
Mostly it was a lot of starting and stopping though.
When I got home I got back in bed until 930. I don’t think I actually slept. I was in this weird in between place and it was nice. I was warm. But I got up and put warm things on and took my laptop to the basement.
I worked on Christmas presents and patterns and I did some watercolors. I wanted to work on little chairs but my xacto is missing, which makes me so mad because I always keep it in one place and it isn’t there. But mom found dad’s so I could work but then I lost inspiration. Ill try again later though.
I did do some sewing today and I fixed the doll house Sarah gave me. I hope to get all my miniature stuff down to the basement this week so I can start making the rooms and adding my figures. I want to make it like my creature people dioramas but in full room form. I am very much looking forward to that.
I stayed down stairs most of the day though. I really didn’t want to waste today since I took the day off. I am happy with what I got started though. I think I need to work out a heater situation down there though because its just warm enough to not be frozen but its still hard to work.
Its nothing like the moore studios though.
Around 5 I decided to go to the craft store but the thing I had gone to buy ended up being a wash. So I got terracotta sculpy and some clear glass ornaments that I'm making villages in. I started working on that tonight. I also bought proper diorama grass glue. So it should stick better now.
Ive decided to watch grey’s anatomy from the beginning so I'm going to be marathoning that the next few weeks I think.
I'm going to take the 720 train tomorrow just in case. And I'm checking septa’s website first because that was infuriating. Sarah I don’t know how you dealt with all those problems your train had last year because I had a melt down with 1 problem.
