I really like this video, it’s insightful and designed in a very effective way. I thought how he overlaid the classic Pantone border over footage of different places in different hues was very visually pleasing.
Here’s the final animation, the client loved it so I’m pleased. It’s going to be up on the screens in the foyer inside the REP pretty soon.
I decided to try to make the dalmatian chase its tail. It requires frame by frame, because the dog is changing the position of its legs and neck, so I don’t think playing with the paths in AE will do. Same process as my animated logo - animatic in PS then drawing the frames in AI.
So, Rebecca asked me if I could help with a project for The REP. They want the dalmatian to be animated, whether it’s wiggling or chasing its tail. She made the graphics and shared with me the AI file.
I made a short storyboard to share with the client.
