First Post Back (More of an angry vent than anything);
Heh... Iāll admit, what Iām about to say is purely out of me being sick and tired of being quiet, and it may be all over the place along with missing bits of information per each person I mention that I only may or may not know about/forget to mention, but I donāt care;
Iāve been staying off of a lot of sites lately either than YouTube, Discord and TikTok (half because I can, and the other half is that Iām tired of hearing drama), but Iām going to say something about the drama Iāve heard going around about some YouTubers throughout the fandoms that Iām a part of. Yes, this will make me lose followers, and I guarantee that Iāll get hate for it, but itās merely my thoughts and opinions on certain things and people, so no one has to come after me for simply speaking my mind. Youāre all free to disagree with anything or everything I say, but the second anyone sends me vulgar asks/direct messages saying how āIām wrong for feeling the way I doā, anything along the lines of āActually, this happened, you need to not defend this person because of itā, or even reblogging this entire post in itself saying stuff like āThis person clearly doesnāt know what theyāre talking aboutā, or āYouāre completely wrong for feeling this way, hereās a massive list as to whyā? You will be blocked. As Iāve said, this is merely my thoughts and opinions on this matter, Iām not looking for a challenge, Iām not attacking any one person in particular, and Iām not looking to be educated on the matter. Over time my opinion could change (I do research things), but as of this moment, this is what I have to say (TRIGGER WARNINGS; MENTIONS OF PEOPLE BEING TOLD TO COMMIT SUICIDE, DEATH THREATS, AND CERTAIN TERMS THAT MAY OFFEND PEOPLE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED);
The number of YouTubers that are getting cancelled NEEDS TO STOP. Cancel Culture itself NEEDS TO STOP. Itās not cool/funny, nor is it okay to cancel someone because people want clout or whatever proper term that's used for them about getting attention. Not only that, but hearing that people are saying horrible things to YouTubers, dragging them into drama that they donāt even have anything to do with to begin with, and even telling said YouTubers to kill themselves? THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT OKAY WHATSOEVER, NO MATTER WHAT THEYāVE DONE! The numbers are on the rise, and itās pissing me off to no extent to see the names that pop up.
To name a few off the top of my head (all of them obviously havenāt been told the exact same things, and some accusations/things that have been said arenāt as bad as others, but still);

Dreamwastaken. I absolutely adore and respect this man (as a fan, of course). Iāve seen so many accusations against him, including being accused of cheating in many of the games he plays, calling him a horrible person, calling him a hacker, almost too many things that I care to talk about, but the most recent accusations placed against him by a woman and her sister (I believe it was her sister) on stream (I wonāt speak their names), accusing him, his fandom, and his followers of being toxic just to take the heat off of her saying slurs within her own stream, accusing him of talking to minors (part of his fan base is minors because of the amount of Minecraft he plays), accusing him of queer-baiting with his best friend (he and Georgenotfound literally just play flirt because theyāre close enough and comfortable enough to do such things with one another, whatās wrong with that?), interrogating him relentlessly and forcing him to state a sexuality despite saying in the past that he wishes to remain unlabeled, interrupting him and making fun of his ADHD, and her subscriber-only chat telling him to kill himself? NONE OF THAT IS OKAY! People thinking āOh, Dream does a lot of Minecraft stuff, make him the head of the entire Minecraft fandom as a whole and accuse him of not being able to keep his friends or toxic viewers in checkā, thatās not okay, either! Dream is only responsible for himself, not his friends, and he sure as HELL isnāt responsible for what any of his viewers/followers say, cruel or not!
Not only that, but forcing him to state his sexuality? What is WRONG with people?! Forcing someone to come out is 100% NOT OKAY! As far as Iām concerned? Heās still unlabeled, and he will remain as such until he ISNāT backed into a corner and forced to say what he is like he did the other night (when I post this). If or when he wishes to state his sexuality, and if or when he is comfortable enough to do such a thing, then he will, itās as simple as that!

JSchlatt. I donāt know a whole lot about this man, but Iāve been following him for a little while, and from what Iāve seen and heard, he makes a lot of crude jokes- some racist, which I donāt necessarily agree with myself, but I donāt go out of my way to try and cut him down because of it, I personally just watch content with him in it and ignore some of the jokes he makes- and Iāve heard about his video titles and the pictures he uses for his videos, but does that necessarily mean that he needs to be cancelled? Itās not like heās going out of his way to be offensive. Thatās just how the man is, people need to realize that. Heās genuinely a nice person, heās just very blunt with what he says, and he isnāt afraid to make jokes that he himself finds funny alongside his friends.

Karl Jacobs. Iāve only been following him for a small while, but I still donāt understand why people are trying to cancel him. He hasnāt done anything wrong, and from the one clip Iāve seen of him with someone stating āthere goes another person I thought I could trust not to do anything badā, he wasnāt even doing anything bad? Yes, Iām still getting information about everything, so I may change my words in the future, but as of right now, Iām not going to.

Fundy. A few weeks ago (when I post this), he made a video that had a few highly inappropriate things within it, and while Iām not defending him for said video, people sent him death threats because of it. THATāS NOT OKAY. He apologized for it, and while I havenāt seen any hate towards him since, that doesnāt mean that itās not there simply because I myself donāt see it.

Mini Ladd. This is a person that I was wasnāt going to talk about due to people still not being comfortable at the very mention of his name, but Iāll say what I have to say anyways;
Am I aware of everything he was accused of? Yes, I am. Have I seen his apology videos? Yes, I have. Am I saying that he shouldnāt have been cancelled? No, not necessarily, but it still makes me feel sick to hear all the horrible things people say about him. Do I still follow this man on the internet? Yes, I do. Wanna know why? Itās simple; I donāt hate him. I canāt find it in myself to hate him, but I havenāt fully forgiven him for what heās done yet, and I wonāt until he actually shows that heās turning himself around. Personally, I believe people can change, but thatās my own optimistic thought process. Maybe he will, maybe he wonāt, but Iām willing to remain neutral until given a reason to think otherwise. About the only thing I will truly defend him about, though? Is people telling him to kill himself. People have every right to be angry at him for what he did, yes, but telling ANYONE to kill themselves is not okay, no matter what theyāve done. Itās sickening, and it needs to stop.

Thatās all Iām going to say for now. Thereās SO many more that I could talk about, but those are the few that I wanted to talk about when I post this. As I stated above, my opinion could change over time, but as of this very moment, thatās how I feel about the situation of the youtubers I spoke of above.
Also, I understand that not everyone is toxic towards the people I mentioned above. Iām not saying that every single person is, Iām simply stating the drama part of everything Iāve heard as of late of everyone I mentioned above, nothing more, nothing less.
