as most of you know i literally NEVER makes posts like this but i think that this is a really cool and really amazing thing to do (not to mention extremely easy!)
okay so this really cool thing i’m talking about is Tab for a Cause! pretty much what Tab for a Cause is, is it’s a widget that you add onto your browser (you can get it right here) and every time you open a new tab you are essentially donating to charity! seriously guys it’s so simple, you open a tab and you’ve raised some money for charity, plus you get to choose what charity it goes to out of the 8 they are partnered with so you know where your raised money is going!!

so how this works, by installing the widget your new opened tabs will now look something like this:
this is their default page which personally i think is very pretty and that’s why i haven’t changed it but if you don’t like it you don’t have to keep it like this, you can customize it!
as you can see they have advertisements on their page (in the bottom right corner on my page) that pay them for being there. they then use the money that is raised from the ads to give to charities of your choice! they currently have eight different charities that you can choose to give your “hearts” to (some of them are for education, health, water, etc, so you get to choose what you most want to support). these hearts are what you earn for opening up a new tab with this widget installed. for every tab you open you get a heart that you can then give away to one of the charities! also if you recruit new members you can get 350 hearts for every person you get to sign up, so if you click this link and sign up i’ll be getting 350 hearts that i can give to charities which is insane cause it took me almost 2 months to get that many by opening up my tabs, so not only will you now be getting hearts to give away but by signing up with my link you’ll effectively be giving 350 more hearts to charity!
not to mention, opening the tabs is also giving clean water! i’ve had this installed for like a month and a half and just by opening my normal amount of tabs i’ve apparently raised enough to provide 4 months of clean water to one person, that might not seem like a lot but guys, i’ve literally done NOTHING out of my usual to do this
so i know that a lot of people already have this but to those of you that don’t it’s a super super easy thing to get in on and if you’re anything like me and are constantly opening new tabs, why not let that help a charity?
