Stephen Burgess is a developer from England, based in San Francisco. He mainly focuses on HTML, CSS and Javascript. From looking at his work I can see the experiments he carries out, such as animations with CSS and Dynamic Bezel Lines. His website gives a step by step on how he created his animations through CSS and also gives a brief overview of how he felt his work turned out - which I find very helpful (considering I am new to CSS)!
His website is structured as a timeline of when he created his work and blogs, when you hover over each block he gives a brief summary of what each article is about. Each block brings up an article when clicked and gives an in-depth discussion.
He also has his own brand name (Minimal monkey) and a logo which seems to fit him very well! From his brief summary of himself we also learn that he really likes SASS, monkeys and Arsenal Football Club - which gives his website a more personal and friendly feel.
I love the layout of his website - it’s simple, bold and easy to navigate! However it has much more textual content than imagery, which works for the layout but may put some people off!
