Finished up a new doll dress! I truly love this dress and they way it came together with some cute layers and runching, but I will say... Goddamn those straps. I had to double the pattern size because I could NOT turn over the little tiny bits and hem them, it was such a rough go. Once again, dress is unremoveable, I stitched the doll right into the dress! I'm having so much fun making tiny little jewellery accessories for my dolls, UGH. I am in the process of redoing Emily's curls, since de-matting them essentially meant frizz city. Between the renovations, and temporarily housing my dad in my studio during the pandemic, it's been really difficult for me to get any studio time in since pretty much January. I've switched to a new afternoon shift which is quite the learning curve, and I've also been working from home! So many changes since the pandemic. Anyways, I've been playing @dollightfully and @poppenatelier in the background as I work, and oh my goodness all I want to do is repaint dolls and sew tiny clothes and make tiny shoes...
