I've been making these "Respect the Steel" hashers as a warning and a reminder. You can carry a knife, you can fidget it, you can work it...but you must respect your blade. You don't do a hobby like ours without a little danger. It's part of the fun. But the second you let your guard down, even just a little, your blade will bite you.
The first photo carries the #respectthesteel hashtag. The second is the textless original. The third one is the gnarly one that shows more blood, but less actual damage. This third one would qualify for the hastag.
A Case knives Mini Sodbuster bit me when I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. It was silly mundane. I was cutting the plastic off the back of a frozen pizza, and my thumb was in the way.
