Version 4.0 Release
Our newest release is a major step forward for you. For the first time Fresh Vine is now open to your entire community with the Community Portal. The portal allows your broader community to access some info. They can see a roster, basic profiles, editing profiles for their family, and manage their message preferences and history.
Besides the portal your Fresh Vine experience is more refined for mobile. Many key elements have been improved for a better mobile experience. You can also quick add people and events from anywhere in the leader site. Convenient when grabbing someones contact information while you're on the go.
Major Features
Added a new Community Portal allowing the rest of your community to get access to their basic profile, a roster, and their message history.
New Quick Add tool allows fast creation of people and events from anywhere in Fresh Vine. Great for capturing details in a mobile environment.
Four new filter settings for focusing on the right people: Portal Visibility, Account Ownership (Portal, Leader, or no account), Group Leader (Yes, No, by type, and by category), and added a not-set option to all date fields [in the drop down menus].
New type of user account - Portal - that is easier to maintain and synchronizes emails with its associated person profile. User management section is reserved for leader accounts.
Minor Features
The portal, leader, and concierge sites all now use user accounts to log in. Concierge accessible to leader accounts with access to the roster.
People can now have a middle name stored with their profile
You can now create portal and concierge sessions from the leader site with the click of a button.
Incorporate email management into the portal
Updated the top half of the primary dashboard for improved functionality.
Concierge now has a drop down location selector for accounts with multiple locations.
Users can now login with either their username or their email.
Other Fixes
Now correctly creates a new member while creating a user account.
Updated how the icon font is used for some mutlibit characters, fixes display issues in older browsers
Date and Radio filter fields would infrequently become marked unintentionally enabled when updating a filter.
Deceased people no longer age.
Correct some social media validations (Blogger, Google+, YouTube, and Vimeo)
Email openings were not correctly counted between 6/23 and 6/30.
People can be removed again.
Some custom information would continue to trigger the filter after it was removed.
Service Skip dates now generate for the correct day of the week
When adding multiple media items to a playlist at the same time the new additions now order by their publication date.
Group filtering by campus works again.
The community email always looked validated, even when it had not been.
Other Changes
Person, Group, and Event headers redesigned to work better on mobile devices.
Better errors when an email won't send to help you understand the problem.
Updated the styling on the privacy policy page
Better highlighting on the quick search drop down.
Update google maps implementation to leverage some API updates

Updated a persons account page to make account maintenance easier.
Some of the grammar on the email delivery score explanations was improved.
The date is included as a column on all of the giving exports [was previously excluded from a daily export]

Optimize some base queries and moved configuration details to the session cache.
Updated the AddToHome notification that encourages users to bookmark Fresh Vine
Updated the text editor tinyMCE to keep up to date with compatibility issues.
Updated the styling on the update history window to make it more helpful.
Ensure that the person ID used when entering giving is a valid ID before allowing data to be entered.
