Plenty has happened which I haven't yet written about, but the single most important thing was that on Wednesday (May 14th) we started an open event dubbed "BR Race Days".

It's essentially an organised practice session, where friends can gather and race their Mini-Z's. It's free to participate, and the fun is tremendous.

Since it's for practice, we decided to add a bit of an extra difficulty factor, making the finals 2x15 minutes races - instead of a single 15 minute.

Details of how I re-wired the stock motor. I really like how it's all nice and neat, tucked under the DPS without interfering with the suspension at all.

Race cancelled

Yesterday's race was canceled due to a small turnout. Instead I stuck around to try out my new Tx and perform a shakedown on the car, since I've replaced the chassis. First impression of the new Tx is amazing! What's more impressive is the amount of tuneability it offers. Still need to figure out a few things, but right off the bat, I managed to reach my best time. I tried out different settings for the ABS and I also tried out Acceleration Control. Still more stuff to experiment on. Looking forward to my next session... The date of the race will be announced within the week, so till then I'll need to practice!
