nicolejeon 여러분께 얼마나 감사하고 감사한지 말로 다 표현할 수 없어요. 처음 시작했을 때, 소통에 얼마나 어려움을 겪었는지 기억나요. 한국어를 전혀 못 해서 하루하루를 겨우 버텨냈어요. 한때는 그냥 그만두고 집으로 돌아가 사랑하는 어머니의 따뜻한 품에 안기고 싶었던 기억이 나요.
제 멤버들은 대부분 영어를 할 줄 몰랐지만, 그 힘든 시기를 헤쳐나가는 데 큰 도움을 줬어요. 저는 남은 인생을 그분들께 보답하며 살 거예요. 저에게 한국어를 가르쳐 주시기 위해 휴식을 포기해 주신 분들, 제가 다이어트에 어려움을 겪을 때 함께 음식을 나눠주신 분들, 그리고 규칙을 어기고 영어로 대화해 주신 분들께요.
이제 제 멤버이자 가족 같은 이 놀라운 분들을 만났으니, 힘든 일도 겪을 때마다 항상 저와 함께해 주신 분들과 함께했고, 영원히 감사할 거예요. 🤍
Translation: I could never express how grateful and thankful I am for you all. When I first started, I remember how much I struggled with communication. I could not speak any Korean and was just barely getting through the day. I remember once I just wanted to quit and move back home, into the comforting arms of my beloved mother. My members, even if most of them couldn’t speak English, helped me through that dark period of time. I will spend the rest of my life repaying them for the times they gave up their breaks to teach me Korean, for sharing their own food when I was stuck on a diet, for breaking the rules just to speak to me in English. Now that I have met these incredible individuals who are not only my members but my family, through thick and thin, they were with me, and I will forever be grateful for them 🤍
