MinkRaft in honor of my Discord being unable to type Minecraft

Before we started the Minkraft-world I wanted to build a megabase in the Mesa, but somewhere I changed my mind to somewhere overlooking an ocean. Once we actually started I settled down in the middle of the jungle next to a lake and then I just... stopped thinking about the megabase and started thinking about all other types of projects I wanted to do instead.

I tried thinking about the mega base sometimes but there was too many choices and all bioms seemed good for making a megabase and part of me was “maybe I’ll find a good spot while I’m exploring”.

And then I watched Ren’s latest hermitcraft-video and all the longing for the mesa returned because the spot Ren had found? beautiful 10/10

So I went to the mesa and found the spot for my future megabase OF DOOM

overlooking the same valley that Ren found but from the other side of it. I have A Plan and I’m kinda excited about it but I want to get the villager district up and somewhat running before I start with this. I might build a IBBB at the spot I choose though, not entierly sure what the plan is right now.

Except getting back to harvesting pumpkin lanterns and building my fake tree (and I also need to make a bookshop in the shopping district which the other players never visits anyway)

My Minkraft starterbase:

I was gonna say “those of you who watch hermitcraft s7 might recognize this lake” but honestly with my builds in the way and the hermits’ builds missing (and the camera all weird and disorted) it’s probably impossible. So anyway this is the lake Scar is building a village next to (on the opposite side of where I am). Stole the seed for that world because mooshroom island? Beautiful, never seen one before and wanted it.

You can barely make out my tiny house there in the hill! I may have been inspired by Mumbo and Grian for that ops. Lemme take a closer pic of it.

Isn’t it nice? it’s not quite as nice as the hobbit hole I made in another world (did I show that off?) but mostly because there’s water outside so when I wake up I can’t go to the window and watch zombies catch on fire. Kinda miss that, maybe I’ll have a window for that when I get to building my actual base (I have no plans for that yet ho)

I was supposed to focus on getting enough pumpkin lanterns to start the next phase of my villager district but I got a little bit distracted and made a bee haven instead. But tbf I did need honey blocks for my mobfarm tree!

I’m having a lot of fun with this when the fall damage isn’t trying to kill me, but I kinda want a pair of elytra so I could more easily check out how it looks and get to the places I need. The scaffolding is terrible because I always place it at the wrong place or not tall enough xD
