First impression: My first impression was more from the general concept of Shattered Glass and not from actually reading the comics at first… 🤭 I sort of saw him as the Shy Nerd type at first, the type to be very, very bashful with any sort of affection. I… thought he was a funky looking jet. [head in hands]

Impression now: He is a math professor AND a charismatic mech. The duality of him as a jock-passing nerd. He’s got a big, big heart in him and will give it to all of his friends, and

Favorite moment: Right after taking a gunshot for NV Cliffjumper, all badass looking:

Idea for a story: An SG Lost Light AU… still thinking about it. It would be quite a horrible situation, of course, but Megatron could push through the initial hopelessness of it. He’d probably be a bit changed after being with so many Autobots and having their cause be the winning one, but his fire wouldn’t go out — it’d just crackle and simmer down before bursting back up again. Not to go on too much about the AU but… it might be a way to reignite the Decepticon cause rather that letting other Decepticons go out fighting or fleeing.

Unpopular opinion: He gentleness and kindness is absolutely not a sign of weakness or naivety. He is strong and capable and still holds a grand amount of hope on his heart.

Favorite relationship: i will NOT say minimegs again i promise — Him and Starscream perhaps! SG MegOP also has a certain flair to it.

Favorite headcanon: I really bet he could get a GOOD laugh going while talking about math with someone. From personal experience, talking through a problem and all its tedious details and repetitive elements… then looking at whoever you’re talking to… the split second of eye contact and exasperation just can leave you laughing. I bet Megatron has the possibility of doing that. :P

Hello, and thank you! While I still intend to RP, I have absolutely had no activity as of late, because of school. When I am able to get back into roleplaying and writing in general, I predict it will be sometime after May. I am comfortable roleplaying over DMs, though I would prefer to do so over discord, if you have one.

Are relationships in SG backwards too or are things like Chromewind, Minimegs, and Cygate still present?

Oh this an involved question! :3c

To start, the backwardness of the relationships would be dependent on how exactly each bot’s personality is flipped in the SG-verse. What I mean is that, depending on how one interprets the opposite of the normal universe mech’s personality could lead to the mechs absolutely hating each other, being indifferent, or having a whole new dynamic than what their normal-verse counterparts had. The flipping of personalities and timeline events could also lead to brand new ships as a whole!

For CDRW, there is actually canon content of them!

While their role in the media is minimal, they do have their little moments. To flop their relationship dynamic of the IDW iteration, I would say that Rewind helps feed Chromedome’s addiction of mnemosurgery, and perhaps is addicted to removing and modifying his memories as well. Rather than having the opposite of a loving relationship, they still would care for each other, just in a sadder, odder sort of way.

As for Minimegs: I absolutely ship SG Minimegs, ship it with all my heart. Rather than being the introverted poetry grandpas of the LL, you’ve got two fairly sociable mechs from totally different spheres of thought. They are sort of an opposites attracting sort of deal, in my eyes: a little lawyer noblemech who’s never had to go to war versus the mathematician leader of the failing faction. While they would bicker more than their normal-verse counterparts, the ship still would likely sail!

If you bring in MagsMegs though, I’d have to stop you there. SG Magnus is a strange, obsessed mech, focused wholly on destroying the world and having Treadshot be alive long enough to know he failed. Not exactly a great match for Megatron.

For Cygate, I feel like there could be some spark between them, but not the healthy sort. Cyclonus is a mech who is easily manipulated (and was sort of forced into being this way through a series of modifications made by Alpha Trion), while Tailgate is pretty manipulative.

TLDR: In SG, some ships are non-existent, some have new dynamics, and sometimes there are brand new ships rising from the ashes! — It all depends how you make opposites out of normal-verse mecha!
