My Harem? Jake Jensen, Derek Hale, Elliott Spenser, Geralt of Rivia, Alec Trevelyan (AU of loyal spy) It was hard to limit to 5 but it helped to eliminate candidates who are the princesses that want to be taken care of instead of caring for me. I also deliberately chose guys who look distinctly so I can recognize which one in a dark bedroom.

I know you ship Darcy/Bucky but please tell us why.

What made you ship it?

I’m of the ‘ship Darcy Lewis with everyone’ camp, but these two have a special place in my heart, for reasons I explain below.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

Darcy’s bubbly and filterless personality is something I think Bucky would probably be drawn to as he tries to get a handle on his place in the world. She isn’t afraid to say what she means, especially if it’s true, even if it will get her in trouble. Throw in Bucky’s often tight-lipped, gruff exterior and protective streak, and the fact that he’s grown up taking care of Steve, and hi, hello, it’s basically my favourite kind of ship dynamic.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I’ve written these two a variety of ways and with a few different power dynamics. I think I tend to write Bucky a little closer to what we see in TFATWS (which, in itself might be unpopular, depending on your views): Less outwardly vulnerable, unless he’s alone and behind closed doors, a penchant to laugh things off and fudge the truth if it means he won’t have to talk about his feelings, and a little restless. 

But again, I don’t have any hard rules for either of these two.

I was thinking of you and wishing you well. You now live with so many cats that Andy might have trouble getting your attention. But maybe he can make friends with the cats (despite the 'mouth pets'). May your days be better than you hoped.

Aww, this is so lovely and kind! Andy knows how to get attention, and how to make the cats love it, don’t worry. It’s got lots of good dark places to hide here, too, and has made the space all its own. ;)

He'd be the best dance partner and I'd be proud to have him on my arm. And of course by the end of the night...😏

The man works in politics and knows how to mingle with others. He can also plan an escape if we want to duck out early. 😉

Museum - Bucky

The man went to the Stark Expo and I think he would appreciate going to museums. Though he was a part of so much history, he still missed out on many things. I'll take the stalker look. 😂

You know, one option is Captain America, Captain Hydra, Winter Soldier, and umm, is Bucky as Captain America just called Captain America? So there is Blond Captain America, Brunet Captain America, Captain Hydra, and Winter Soldier. Wait, how come Winter Soldier is the only one with a promotion? He might have legitimate resentment to pretend to be part of the team of four, then steal you away after their defenses are lowered.

Why do I LOVE the idea that the Winter Soldier is secretly resentful that he didn't get promoted like the others? We know he's resourceful. He could steal the reader away. 😉

You are trapped in a well with walls too smooth for you to climb and you have nothing with you to help you escape. Suddenly a hand reaches down to grab your up-stretched hand. You can't recognize the voice because of how strained he is stretching then lifting you with one hand. Is there anyone whose hand you would NOT take if you knew who he was? ("Sorry, I'm going to wait to see if someone else finds me") On the other hand, who do you HOPE is rescuing you? How will you want to reward him?

Ooh. Who do I NOT want to rescue me?

Yeah. That man. 😂 I feel like Mr. Freezy would very much want some sort of repayment or make my life hell once I'm in his clutches.

Who would I want to rescue me?

Maybe Bucky's metal hand reached down to get me. But Bucky and Steve are a package deal and I hear Paris is really nice this time of year. 😏

With all of his victims, he deserves to be stabbed. Who knows? He may like it.

Drown - John Walker

Nothing against the actor. I just couldn't stand the character and drowning would be a terrible way to go. 😏

So (obviously) James, Bucky, Steve, and Grant all want you. But are they competing as individuals, teams of two, or are you helpless when all four team up to get you? I would think that none of them would consider themselves to be evil, just working from a different background, understanding, and set of ethics and goals. That doesn't mean that no one else considers some (or all) of them to be evil. So many possibilities!

I guess that depends. 😏 If James and Grant are from another world, would Bucky and Steve trust them to share? We know Bucky and Steve trust each other. Maybe we can assume James and Grant would be the same way.

And what would their angles be? Would they take it slow or come on strong? And how would our reader fell? 👀 There really are so many things that could be done!
