Okay, lovelies, some positivity for FriYAY.

June 10th marked 20 years of marriage for me.

I'm going to Hilton Head with my hubby, kiddos, parents, one sibling and BIL for a MUCH needed vacation (wishing the rest of my siblings could've gone).

I was stopped 4 times at daycare yesterday when I picked up my kiddos to get compliments on my weight loss (I still have more work to do, but I am visibly slimmer). No prying, no questions. Just telling me I looked great.

I haven't had time to write much lately, but I'm hoping to carve out time soon.

How are you lovelies doing? ❤️

dad dex is probably the type to turn the kids into his personal surveillance system for when it comes to you

Nonnie, you know he'd be gentle about giving the kids "tasks" and things to look out for.

"You tell Daddy if Mommy seems sad today, okay?"

And you know he does a daily/nightly debriefs. Sitting at the table for dinner or tucking them in, kissing them on the forehead.

"Did Mommy have a good day? Were you good for her?"

And the kids would be so happy when he says how proud he is that they're keeping an eye on you, especially if they offer information without being asked.

"Daddy, a man talked to Mommy at the grocery store today!"

"...What man?"

And he isn't having them look out for you because he doesn't trust you. He's devoted to you, and the kids are an extension of you. It's the rest of the world he doesn't trust.
