Hey, I just stumbled across an old post of yours (like, nine months old) about what happened at Minncon 2016 between J2 and the bartender. I was just wondering if you could share anymore about how it was determined that the bartender was a Misha/Cass stan and what was said? That doesn't entirely fit with the bits and pieces I've heard, and I'm always interested in more information.

The people who looked at her accounts at the time it happened saw that she bragged about ‘telling him to his face what the fandom really thought of him’ and she was being lauded by her mutuals for it (some of the most toxic and hardcore minions, etc., who were on one of their ‘get Jared to leave by any means’ campaigns). Unfortunately, no one took screenshots because no one expected her to delete all her SM, but I heard about it from a few people I legitimately trust.

What did you hear?

What's the story behind this bartender thing? When did this happen cause I don't recall it

In 2016, after J2 were done at MinnCon, they went to have drinks at their hotel bar and one of the bartenders said things to Jared that he described as hatred, spite, judgement, and bullying. Fans found her on SM, where she was bragging about how she’d treated Jared to his face and herCas/Misha stan friendswere congratulating her, then she shut down her SM when she started getting attacked by Jared fans. Minions then started spreading the rumor (and still maintain it) that the bartender gave Jared the wrong drink, but Jared made clear in a reply on his FB that it wasn’t because of poor service at all, it was because of her cruel words.

hey, I just saw your response to the ridiculous c*ckles theory somebody posted. I loved what you had to say. you're so smart and fierce. thank you for everything you do! there was one thing I hadn't heard before though, and I'd be glad if you could expand on it or maybe link me to a post where you talked about it before. the incident where a waitress made jared cry. I had no idea it was confirmed she was a dc shipper and her attacking jared was about that shitty ship. thank you again!

Thanks, and you’re welcome. I expanded on it in a previous ask here. She was a bartender and a Misha/Cas stan, but I don’t know whether she was also a destiheller. She shut all her SM down as soon as the Jared girls found her, so that’s all anyone knows (except for those involved, of course).

I have gone back and forth about posting my story about this photo. But then I remembered what this photo was all about.  

I had an idea before I got to SPNMinn but it all came to light on Saturday Night at the AIR Launch.  He was kind enough to speak at the event which was really great to listen to him speak.

As Jared left the stage a young girl was off to the side and was having a difficult time. She was crying and shaking. I watched Jared walk over to her and consuled her.  I have read many stories about Jared helping people but I got to witness his love first hand.  In fact, believe it or not I was pretty calm when Jared arrived at the launch.  However what tugged at my heart was watching Jared help this young girl. I had tears running down my face.  Eventually the young girl was laughing and showing all her bracelets to him.  

So when I got back to my room that night I thought more about my photo op with Jared.  I knew I was going to have a hard time telling him the purpose behind the op, so I decided to write it out on a small piece of paper.  

I had 2 ops with Jared and I did the funny one first.   While I picked up the stuff from the first op I gave Jared the piece of paper.  

Basically the note said....This Op is for you and not for me. I watched you interact with the young girl at the AIR Launch last night.  It truely touched my heart.  I want to hug you the way you hug and care for others.  When you are struggling to fight, I want you to remember this hug and find the strength to keep fighting.

I chose to stand on a stool so that I could be taller than Jared. Since he towers over everyone, I wanted to tower over him. I wanted to be his strength in that moment. I didn't know he closed his eyes until I saw the photo. I am so happy he did...it just made it that much more special.

So this is my story for Jared!
