I know there’s a lot happening with the discourse on minors. I want to make this very clear: MY BLOG IS NOT FOR MINORS.

I’ve stated this before but I am a teacher. That’s my livelihood. I can be fired or sued if any of you decide to follow and interact.

Please respect my boundaries the same as yours. Find your own space. I get it. There’s a lot of content out there. Teenage years can be some of the most confusing and sexually frustrating time of your life. Trust me, I work with teens on the daily.

However, I respect you too much to do that. While not all my content is sexual, some of it is. Plus intereacting with minors really freaks me out in this context. I couldn’t imagine my students looking at what I write. It physically makes me sick.

I can’t tell you what to do. But I will block you if you’re a minor. I need my own space because I have to be professional on literally every other platform in my life. All my other accounts are locked down because of teenagers wanting to invade my boundaries even when I state I’m uncomfortable.

If I continue to see it happen, I’m moving to AO3 for all my stuff and age restricting everything.

I say this with the utmost love: if you are a minor I don’t want to know.

Don’t broadcast that kind of information to me or anyone else. When I was your age I kept that shit to myself because I knew how many predators were on the internet. If you want to read my NSFW fics that’s your prerogative. I expect you to know your own limits. But do not tell me you are a minor when you read them. That will lead to me deleting your comment and possibly blocking you for your own safety.

Remember kids, the internet is full of nice people who will respect your boundaries…but it’s also full of just as many shady people who will take advantage of your naïveté.

Please keep this in mind when interacting in fandom spaces.
