Thank you!! and honestly I cant pick a favorite,, I'm trying so hard. grasshopper mice are super cool and funfact, are immune to scorpion stings and are also carnivorous! they also howl!! (https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/article/131024-grasshopper-mice-scorpion-venom-pain-animals-science)
theres also a lot of cool birds LIKE SUPER AWESOME I love birds theyre so cool. I cant name anything specific but columbidaes are definitely top 3 (esp the obv mourning dove: https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Mourning_Dove/overview)
I also really like echidnas. look at this guy and tell me he isnt awesome. monotremes in general are just interesting (short beak echidna to be specific: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short-beaked_echidna)
I also really like viverridaes and snails and fish (and kinda insects but I'm deathly afraid of them in person, theyre only cool through a screen unfortunately)
