Hello! Fellow ace here, and that's mostly why you're the only blog I feel most comfortable requesting this from- But, basically, could I maybe get some headcanons about Ozzie falling for an asexual, shy and kinda scaredy female reader? Or a drabble, or whatever kicks your muse off for it best? It's okay if not, though! Thank you anyways! I really like your memes btw!
anon my beloved i am peppering your tiny face all over with lil' tiny kissies /p!! TYSM for the ask AND the kind words! I'll do my best just for you :)) here goes!
(First person POV- Ozzie x Ace Reader)
Asmodeus had first spotted you sometime around closing hours of his nightclub, at a ridiculous hour in the morning, and he almost instantly felt something inside him malfunction. You were all alone, freezing in the pouring rain, having missed the last weekend bus, and far too knowing of the Lust Ring's dangers to brave hailing for a cab at this time of night. "Hey, sugarclaws? Waitin' for someone~?" -You heard his slippery voice as it crawls up your spine from behind you. "Wh-Wha- Oh! I, uh... Yes. M-my, uh... Friend... Is gonna come pick me up. T-thank you for... Your, your concern, sir." You lied, while hoping that you're keeping yourself safe that way. The bundled up demon then cocked a brow at you beneath his tall hat. "Oh, really?... And you're waitin' out in the middle of the street for them?" "-Yes, I want my friend to be able to see me once they're here." You forced out your answer with the tension of a thousand loaded guns, and now his smooth voice is silently chuckling at the jitters in your own vocal cords. "Okay, okay, but are ya sure ya wanna catch a cold, doll? You could wait literally anywhere, y'know." Just as you were about to decline, you sneezed. And you sounded like a kitten.
Now, most of the staff and patrons had gone to their homes a while ago, so he- a tad too abruptly- decided to make an exception in your case, and let you, an obviously tragic single, take cover from the weather inside. "See what I mean? It's not like I bite...~ C'mon, you can text your lil' friend 'bout where you are then." He, far too casually, puts a gloved hand onto your shoulder, and your inability to stand up for yourself makes you freeze up instead of fleeing like you imagined. Or... Was it something about his touch? "Please sir, I appreciate the-the, b-but-" "Oh hush," He cooed, "At least allow me to take ya somewhere warm, my treat." Your legs are not yours as he guides you towards the fabulously pink entrance of Ozzie's, using that shoulder grab alone.
(Oh, what a gentleman!) You wanted to think, had it not been for the imminent terror in the back of mind. Your body is petrified by all of the ideas your anxiety likes to plant into your head, including some rather scary reasons as to why is this tall, shady stranger being so polite towards someone as awkward as you... As Asmodeus tentatively observes your mannerisms, your jumpy movements and wild eyes, he also tries deciphering them, in a number of ways- But all of it deflects off of you in an instant. As if you were immune to the power of his illustrious charms! You denied all and any offers of alcohol "to warm you up", you were not physically challenged by his sheer presence, you even refused to let him drape his coat around your tiny figure. In fact, you only kept flinching from Lust's grasp, burning like holy fire.
Neither of you knew how to handle this random encounter. And yet, all you did to break him was sit by the nearest blue fire, avoiding eye contact so shyly that the lengths that you went were kind of adorable. And Ozzie just couldn't figure out what was it about you that caught his eyes so easily, enamored his nasty mind to save his ass. Just like the one biblical desire to get hold of something forbidden, beyond one's reach or their comprehension. A beautiful confusion, mixed in with unsavory poetic yearning. Now you, on the other hand, were but a flustered, stammering mess, soaked in rain top to bottom and shivering, be it out of cold or fear has been one blurred line a while ago. "Oh, why so nervous, in the house of Asmodeus~?" Comes that voice again, this time from right next to you at the bar. The way he sat had the demon's legs showing from beneath his thick fur coat, and hoo boy were you surprised. This guy wore thigh high heel boots, with spikes and frills all over- And the way how they reacted to the dimmed UV light, changing their colors hypnotically, was... Mesmerizing. Well enough to finally draw your attention. "I-I... Um. It's, I-... Thank you for th-the, help sir..? I'm just... I just, worry about-" "Money? Funny how you're sayin' that, as if there is anythin' to charge ya for..." The demon laughs as you merely buffer. "You haven't even ordered anythin' yet!" Biting your lip and tasting the gloss you applied earlier, you subconsciously dart your eyes around the place, trying not to linger too long on all the guys, gals and any other pals up in those hanging magenta cages surrounding the stage. Asmodeus' luminous green irises follow your own mindlessly, guided by magic- Until the message finally seems to click and eventually register. Thank Lucifer...
And so, he quits being pushy. Instead, all Ozzie's energy retreats inwards. And that is definitely something foreign to the likes of Asmodeus- He's never had to think this damn hard about getting some demon to accept or even see his affections... Well, what do ya know. He now only likes you more and more with every breath you take. "Oh... I get it. This ain't your kinda spot, is it?" Tone hushed and warm, inviting. Your ears lower, as does your previous guard. "... I'm sorry, it's not- Not at all personal, or- Anything. I just... I don't-" "It's alright candyhorn, I know whatcha talking about! Never said it's a problem." Not a problem? Is he for real? You dare look up to meet his face, or whatever is not obscured by the shadow of his hat. "... I mean, I appreciate, you thinking it isn't- But th-the owner is gonna flip if-" "I said, it's not a problem that this sorta place is not your thing~! And I'd know." "How..?" What hope there was to your posture, is soon smoked out by the feel of millions of judging eyes peering into you, into your very ways of existence. "Why, I'm him.~" Asmodeus reassures, with a lighthearted, near dreamy smile.
