11: Bad/petty habits16: Dark secrets/”skeletons in the closet”19: People they hurt or indirectly killed, and how they were affected.

Mun: Alright... so in order of being asked:

Ethyl - 16:1) Ethyl deals with a lot of shit in the background. Usually mental issues, but nothing that comes to the surface (obviously)2) That despite the friends she’s made, she might be fighting an urge to just... well... genocide is the short and blunt word for it.

Phoenix - 19:-This is an extremely rare occurrence for Phoenix. Mainly because 98% of the time, Phoenix either doesn’t want to kill someone, or who he does want dead he kills rather efficiently with very minimal extra causalities. And those extras are ones he doesn’t tend to care about either (usually henchmen or something).

1) Those he hurts he tends to have a reason for. Like if a guy walks into his shop and attempts to rob it, stealing a gun from the front end and walking out with it, Phoenix will actually smile when the thing blows up in said criminal’s face.2) There’s no one that he’s indirectly killed. He like doing things with his own hands.3) He’s hurt/killed plenty of other business owners. Usually for reasons like said owner is a serious threat to things, or is malicious, or does the stupid mistake of threatening to put Phoenix out of business.

Mint - 11:1) Mint tends to get into situations way over her head. Like with the whole heat situation with Phoenix. Or with this fight between Phoenix and the Changelings.2) Getting into sass fights more often than she should... (they’re still entertaining as hell though :3c)

Familial Bonding

(Non-canon RP with @minttheglitch! I liked the idea of Mint and Phoenix having a kid that I suggested doing an RP of a day in their lives if and when this would happen.)

*And so, the day beings. Sort of. It’s 5 in the morning, and the Sun hasn’t risen yet.

*Just another day, and Phoenix wakes up as normal to get ready for work, getting out of the bed trying not to wake Mint. Technically the shop doesn’t open for another two hours, but a certain someone likes to hog the bathroom...

*And so, Phoenix takes a trip to the bathroom. Afterwards, he heads straight over to the second bedroom, and opens the door. Inside, there’s another person sleeping.

*As if to try to wake them up as best as possible, Phoenix flips the lights on, walks over to the bed, and kicks it until the sleeping person wakes up.

“Adara, it’s time to wake up. You really should go to bed earlier when we have to go in earlier than normal.”

*And Phoenix yawns. He actually has a decent amount of facial hair. It’s a nice, bushy beard on his face that’s pretty well-kept. He also looks a lot... bigger. Much more muscley and built. Kinda like a lumberjack, just at a smaller scale since Phoenix is only six feet tall. And his clothing choices are completely different.

“You know how this goes. I stay here until you get out of bed and get moving.” And he gives a slight grin.

*Phoenix is just staring at Mint. What in the world is going on with her today? It’s like something with the tea did this to her or something...

“Erm... you know I think I’ll pass on the tea. It sounds cool but... this isn’t you normally.” He starts backing up slowly, “Maybe another day, because that does sound pretty neat for tea to change color like that.”

*He’s smiling, but his eyes don’t share the same emotion. More of a... concerned, worried, possibly paranoid look.

(minttheglitch) "Phoenix, dearest! Would you like to try my special tea? It's actually pretty amazing!" Mint's voice was abnormally pitched and giddy. Something is definitely wrong with her.

*Phoenix was just walking along, doing his own thing...

*And then he heard a familiar voice.

“Hey Min--.” His eyebrows lift as he turns to see Mint’s new outfit, “Erm... Mint? You... look a bit different today. You doin’ alright?”

*He seems concerned for his friend, considering this isn’t how she normally dresses, talks, and the fact that “special tea” is bringing up a lot of red flags immediately.

“Special tea...?” He sounds confused.

They stared back at the their twin mimicking every action that they did. Their outfit neatly put together, their hair styled into a neat mess. Their face was free of any blemishes. But...everything looked grey. Their hair, their clothes, the room that there were in. Not a single speck of color could be found through the mirror. Frisk turned and looked and took in the grey-scale room before heading to kitchen.

This wasn’t anything new really, life has been fair. They had a roof over  their head, they had their adoptive family. There was nothing that they should be complaining about. But life was just so...dull. Ever since the barrier was broken, the citizens of the underground were free to live life as they always wanted. Frisk always thought that life would be easier, happier for them. But instead were faced with more responsibilities and tasks. Life just became dull. 

The ambassador was lucky though. Today they had a lot of free time on their hands. No press conference, no lessons to attend to, just hours of doing nothing. And what better way to spend it than catching up with a few friends. 

‘Hurry up, Nerd!’ the text flashed on Frisk’s screen. They rolled their eyes as they walked down to their favorite coffee shop. 

Starbucks isn’t exactly a fancy place, but for Frisk it was special. There they could sit and watch all sorts of people. Humans and monsters were at peace in this are, some would chat while others would rather stay in their own seats. Frisk would usually do the latter, sit on their own sofa and study the gray people around them. 

They stood line, eyes locked onto the white and black chalk board. “What to get...” Frisk hummed as they read through the array of choices. Their eyes narrowed a something sparked at the corner of their eye. Odd...that never happened before. They shook it off and  continued to read through the sweet drinks.

Maybe MK was watching them, but she seemed so interesting. He hadn’t realized that she might’ve been able to see him he wasn’t really trying to hide from her.

Tea Leaves

Silence. A stillness so heavy it was suffocating.

This was what Gloopy was used to. Or at least, he tried to get used to it. In reality, the emptiness was beginning to play with the fringes of his mind. 

The paranoia was like a living thing. Crawling around in side of his chest, gnawing at his insides. It hurt. He was so tired. He just wanted to go home. He wanted to relax, to know that everything was fine, that he was safe. They were safe...

Gloopy’s vision refocused, and he looked down at the pencil in his hand. It had stopped moving, just like his train of thought. He had almost had it as well. So close to figuring it out. Always so damn close...

He gave a heavy sigh and set the pencil down. The half-drawn blueprints stared back at him, a physical reminder of his inadequacy. His inability to find the answers he so desperately needed.

He needed coffee.

Getting up from the desk, Gloopy’s spines tipped over the chair he had been sitting at. He looked at it for a moment, then moved silently to the coffee machine. Every movement seemed sluggish, and almost painful. He was getting older now, and the recent transformations he had undergone had drained what little energy he had.

His life was coming to an end, and all his work had just cycled back to step one.

At this rate, his timeline would remain desolate and broken forever.

The coffee was ready. Gloopy took it back to his desk, picking up the chair. As he was about to sit down however, something just outside of his Voidspace caught his eye. He looked up, squinting into the darkness. What was that? It looked like...It looked like someone lying on the ground. 

Gloopy moved quickly all of a sudden. The cup of coffee hastily thrown onto the desk. It toppled and fell, but Gloopy almost didn’t notice. He rushed to the side of the person, abandoning all caution for the moment. He crouched down next to the mystery person, inspecting them for any signs of injury. He didn’t attempt to pick them up or move them, not until he was sure there were no spinal injuries.
