I would like to say I am, possibly gonna be taking a break for a long time. Maybe come back towards the end of June

I am graduating this year and diplomas are coming up and tests are grttjng harder. Same with keeping up with my friendships and family stuff overall and i don't think being a content creator should be one of my worries, I know im not active as much as I used to be an I apologize. Unfortunately I am become disinterested in cuphead slowly, and my main interest. BABQFTIM. I would like to think this break would help me get back into it, show you all my favorite gal minty

Though she is slowly fading in my mind. But I am gonna be taking a long well deserved break, I won't leave or be quitting any time soon. I love this part of my life and I'll do anything to keep it apart of me, same with the friends i made because of it

Ill most likely come back, I'll say hi when i land in Ireland. And I'll completely be online and running again until September.

I love you all and I hope to see you all again, I'll be back and I'll MAYBE post some things here and there

Ink and static are on break, and I'll also be working on the rewrite of bloodlust again to new lore and proper art and designs. But until then, I won't be active.

Just finished reading this fic and goddd it is so good. Might be the best pillar man fic I have ever read. As well as a very interesting fan written villain redemption. Love that. I do not want to spoil it much at all but it is really great.

Hello hello! This is your daily reminder that the Dream SMP is not a primetime TV show or a professionally-produced movie, so please don’t hold it to that high of a standard when the writing or character arcs are not 100% perfect.

(tw: slight rant)

I can’t imagine the amount of pressure it puts on the CCs  to try to please the fanbase because of our mountainous expectations. If things are not perfect plot-wise or story-wise, don’t get angry and upset at the writing team who I know for a fact are trying their best to take over for Wilbur when he decided not to be the head writer anymore for the moment (btw, a very well deserved break Mr. Soot). Not everyone is an english major or a professional screenwriter. If things upset you about character arcs, fine, but don’t take that anger out on the Creators for not doing exactly whatever you wanted. There’s a certain point where you realize that yelling at a TV screen isn’t going to change the fact (for example) that this character did that, or the writing team decided to hijack the plot slightly towards a different goal.

If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. it’s that simple. Don’t harass the CCs who are doing their best and giving you free content to watch that they enjoy making.

Things aren’t perfect all the time. That’s okay.

I feel like Dream SMP has just been thrust into the spotlight along with the same standards people have, for example, about Gravity Falls during its time. Some people expected mystery and answers every episode, got mad at the characterization and writing team with the same amount of fire that I feel Dream SMP gets sometimes, and Gravity Falls WAS A PRIMETIME SHOW WITH A BUDGET.

I know that not all of the fanbase is like this, but it just makes me upset when I see people constantly complain and go off over ‘I hate the way the story’s going right now’ or ‘I hate X character because XYZ, and they didn’t do or act like they should!’ It’s their story and their characters, not yours. Yes of course people can be critical, but there’s a certain line between helpful critique and genuine anger and rage over it all that can become hurtful to everyone.

If you’re this upset about it all, then I’m sorry but maybe it’s about time you move on to something else, for your mental health.

Look, just saying, but if either Akira or Goro were female, while the other were male, then the debate wouldn't even happen; all the subtext, the actual text, even the GODDAMN music would convince people that shuake is an implied romance.

But they're both male, so of course it's just a deep and lasting friendship 😑

And to nip this in the bud before someone says it, I know friendships can be and are just as fulfilling as romances, but I'm tired of people condescendly telling shuake shippers to not read a romantic connotation into Akira and Goro's shared arc and narrative.
