Got my hairs cut. I got there a half hour early but she apparently did not have another client before me so she took me immediately. So that was cool. Last time I went they charged me $10 more than usual but I assumed the rates went up but this time I was charged the original rate but I didn't want to say anything in case this time she made the mistake and actually undercharged me. Whatever.

Stopped at TJ Maxx on the way home because I wanted to look for more minty tea like I got last time, it was like 5 or 6 bucks on Amazon when I looked and $4 at TJ Maxx, so I did find 2 boxes of it, yay! (Wissotsky Nana Mint) I also got 2 other teas, some pink himalayan sea salt for $3.49, a fabric shower curtain and I ended up buying the plastic tray I picked up from housewares to carry around the tea in. I probably shouldn't have but whatever.

Before I left this morning I FINALLY finished One Hundred Years of Solitude. It was okay. I'm not intellectual enough to love it that much. Mainly I am glad I am fucking finished it. NEXT.

I guess it snowed again overnight a bit. The guy next door, the one who did my kitchen keeps shoveling my side. I appreciate it but it makes me feel lazy, like I am not doing it fast enough for the neighbors. I know he just does it to do it, he has nothing better to do I guess, and he is a nice person, he did a bunch of the sidewalks when it snowed on Tuesday. Yesterday he shoveled while it was still snowing, which is just stupid if you are only getting a few inches and it's light and fluffy like it was. I mean, I'm not going out there to shovel just because he is.  Then he shoveled again in the late afternoon after it was done, he did my walk, my steps and my porch up to my door. I mean there was only a little bit down now, it was Saturday, I wasn't going anywhere until late morning today so I am not doing shit if I don't need to. It's not like it was slippery so I figured I'd clean off my car and shovel this morning but he is just shovel-happy I guess. This morning it was covered up again and at around 10 I went out there and swept off my car, started it and swept off my steps. That's it. And he went out and shoveled my walk again and the sidewalks. I don't know. I am pretty sure he just does it for the hell of it but it makes me feel like I'm being lazy, whereas if he'd left it alone I'd have shoveled this morning while my car was warming up and it wouldn't have taken me more than 10 or 15 minutes for everything since it started yesterday morning.  Whatever.  He is a heavy smoker, that's the only thing I worry about but there wasn't much effort in this snow this weekend.

I also cleaned out the inside of my fridge yesterday. I just have to put the glass back in for the bottom shelf (the one with most of the smoothie on it) and one of the drawers.

I didn't do any of the cabinet hardware. I might get to that later.  I also plan to start on my trip photo organization project, that's the only January goal I have yet to work on.
