Introducing SecondTale, as spin-off AU of @missusalmighty‘s MinuteTale. The comic is still in progress, and is being developed by Amber Johnson, aka @kohakuchan19, aka me :P So far I only have the sketches of the first two pages done, and being that I just got a job, progress will be slow. I might try streaming and doing one sketched page and some requests/commissions after I’ve done a page.
@loverofpiggies So I’ve been working on Minutetale for a while now, and I’ve developed a lot for it based on personal theories and general time-space studies I’ve read. When I first found Error!Sans, about a week or two after brainstorming the Minutetale Void, I was honestly a bit put off at first- “Gosh, this is really, really similar to Minute!Sans’ thing... maybe I shouldn't.” But then I got looking into it and comparing, and I realized something. Let’s compare: Error!Sans skips between worlds relatively at will, using the White Void as his default location in the time-space dimensions. Minute!Sans can enter the (dark) Void by chance, and can only travel to other worlds in the company of others from the destination world. He’s stuck in the Void otherwise, for reasons I can’t reveal until it’s brought up on his ask blog. Error!Sans is the invader of worlds. Minute!Sans is a tourist of worlds. They live in opposite void spaces, too; Error!Sans’ void is empty, barren, with only his own influence changing it occasionally, as far as I can tell. Minute!Sans’ void is a distorted replica of the real world, with glitches here and there creating new areas altogether. It seems devoid of life, but is it really? And then, there’s the crazies. Error!Sans suffers from a long time spent alone, and of course, has the god-complex thing going on, where he’s set himself as a deleter of glitches and mistakes. He’s a self-proclaimed “angel of death” for the AUs of Undetale. Minute!Sans is used to being surrounded by loved ones, and though he’s lost them time and again, he’s always had their return from the resets to look forward to- except now that he’s stuck in the void, he’s alone. And it’s crippling. He suffers from separation anxiety and loneliness and a bunch of other related things that I’m not gonna bother listing here. The big thing about Minute compared to Error is this, though; Minute seeks to alter time-lines. He’s set himself to be a vigilante of sorts, changing the traditional time-line however he can to try and create the perfect ending. While he’s yet to achieve anything here yet, his goals are a complete polar opposite to Error!Sans, who seeks perfection in a way, often through violence where Minute!Sans seeks peaceful solutions. That’s not to say Minute!Sans is a hero type. That’s not to say Error!Sans is a villain type. Two sides of one chaotic coin, and I honestly swear, it wasn't intentional. This is the reason I LOVE Error!Sans now. (And I’d freakin’ love to collaborate these two someday js)
