vessel air guitar will never not be funny
oh okay that’s vessel being cute for the thousandth time…
they’re the lovers entwined. the missing pieces. the love you want. or maybe i’m just insane about this specific pose iv does when he wants a kiss
i love you one/two era vessel. i love him wet behind the ears from his transformation, walking on shaky feet, tears streaming from his big deer-in-headlights eyes, skin dusky, face deformed and afraid of his own reflection, the hole where his heart used to be pulsing around a void, half-human. a choirboy to an angel. a man of nothing to a vessel of everything.
idk if this is just twt having little to no nuance again but the way people talk about ruben’s desire to be a father on there is so, like, weird to me lol. sure, it’s noble in theory that he wanted to have a son to be a better father than his own was to him, but i think ep 5-6 make it abundantly clear that him having children at all is a bad idea. no man that unstable and violent could ever be a good role model to his children; he definitely would have messed up his kid in other ways even if he never sexually abused them like how ruben’s father did to him. i don’t really get why people mourn his chance at fatherhood when it’s obvious he would have never been a good dad, even if he was great with the kids he was coaching(?) in ep 3. i guess it’s sad that his desire to be a dad was squandered by him being… himself??? but the way people talk about is as if becoming a father would’ve fixed him which is like completely untrue
big fan of the little blonde streak he forgot to dye :)
today got me back to thinking about feydpaul and everyone is making banger points about how violence is attraction for the harkonnens so feyd fighting paul really is foreplay, establishing that lingering desire, and how the stabbing is actually the grandest display of want, and paul stabbing back affirms, yes, i know we were born in love, and i will never shake our fate because destroying you is the sweetest marriage we, born as two males in this world, can have. when feyd tells paul he fought well, it's his wedding vows. it's "i love you so much." it's "through sickness and health." it's la petit mort, orgasmic affection and fondness. even though it's the one and only time they've ever met, it's the same holy matrimony that would've occured had paul been pauline. neither of them have met their future spouse, but falling in love has never been so easy-- just make sure to twist the knife when your symbolic sex comes to its climax.
people who make happy non-zday aus boggle my mind cuz cal still would have killed himself even without zday
