It was the blaring cry from behind that forced a shriek and perhaps a string of profanities out of her. Bewildered, she quickly turned around to find the source of the sudden commotion, albeit stumbling on the leash she had been holding on to so tightly. “Seriously?” she groaned, her eyes landing upon the reason of her panic and the disturbance of her peaceful late-night walk. “And excuse you, Prince is not just a creature.” she scoffed just as she bent down to pick up the maltese to nestle in her arms, meeting the younger male’s eyes once again with a prominent pout on her lips. “You could’ve just said hi, you know. I almost had a panic attack.”
Upon the reaction earned from his shouted words a wide and rather amused grin displayed over his features. His back straightened as he watched the woman standing before him lean over to pick up her dog only to have it nestle in her arms in a protective manner. Suddenly, he began regretting his choice of introduction. If only he went with what he was comfortable with instead of taking Bobby's advice to be a little more spontaneous around their sunbaes. "Ah--" Awkwardly, Hanbin's hand rubbed along the back of his neck, preparing a bow of his head in apology. "My bad, Noona." Pause. "Hi." The single word was paired with a low chuckle and a smooth wave of his hand.

He was only trying to feed her curiosity, hoping to rile her up for his so-called surprise, and judging by the heightening of her brows and the question in her tone, he was doing just that. "First, close your eyes." He says as he digs his hand into his pocket. He waits only until her eyes are closed to pull out the decoration, holding it high above their heads with an all too wide smile against his lips. "Okay, now open.." He says while puckering his lips as she opens her eyes finally to discover the mistletoe held in his hand above them.
