Why Noah and Mio's romance is so impactful.
Aionios is designed to never let them be happy together and each version of Noah and Mio fight to be together and inevitable fail each time. N is a representation of a Noah who got broken by this realization and wanted nothing than for the chance to be happy with Mio.
It's a big reason their romance is so personal to me. Their society doesn't allow them to love each other in the way 'normal couples' can but they love each other in each life despite that. Noah breaks and destroys the current world so that people have the freedom to be themselves.
NoahMio is developed well through showing how each time they grow to love each other the world thrusts them apart and punishes them for it. So by this logic they aren't 'fated' to love each other but they fall in love each time regardless of what the world desires for them.
