     For once it seems the shrine maiden had come to visit Sanae’s place, though it wasn’t empty handed. She gives a small wave before holding up an old clunky looking laptop covered in stickers as she approaches the girl. 

     “This thing fell on my head today. You came from the Outside World, right? You have any clue what this is? Rinnosuke’s shop is closed today.”

Sanae can either try to convince someone like the kappas or rinno to make her a mech or wait for one to these to pop up when it finally gets forgotten, but sadly this one’s gonna take far longer

     Doraemon held the gadget foward, showing it to the other.  It looked like a toy at a first glance, or like an unconventional-looking PIGGY BANK with that coin slot located on the item’s back.  Once the wooden tray and teapot had been moved aside he set the gadget at the center of the table, giving it a soft pat on its hat before holding the cup of tea that had been offered to him once again.

❝ Insert 10 yen in its slot, give it a name and the gadget will go on    its way to knocking them down three times!!  ❞

With a sudden pause, eye close as he takes a sip from his cup, holding it with both hands.  (GREEN TEA, right??)  After he was done, the robot points out at the seemingly stubby hands the toy had.  That’s where the hidden air cannons were located.

❝ It’s designed to teach the target a lesson, and it won’t stop giving    them chase until the task has been fullfilled, he’s a professional. ❞

‘ Yo, green girl, do you ever leave this shrine? Even that other shrine maiden I’ve seen can leave... sometimes. ’

Well, not really. The red-white shrine maiden seemed more like a homebody too. She only really leaves when she’s forced to. Until quite recently Battler wouldn’t leave his territory either, but after getting the means to explore he wanted to see more rather than being stuck in one location at all times.

‘ Will you be cursed if you leave? Struck by lightning? Are you being held hostage by some bad men...? ’

The sorcerer made a series of gestures pointing to the shrine essentially asking her to nod if there were captors in there.

　Tonight seemed like it would be a very, very stormy night.

　The clouds above covering the perfect starry night weren’t of rain, per say. Not as far as he could tell anyway. It was a gathered flurry of human’s gloom, harbinger of blight if he were stumbled upon without a weapon or spending the night outside of a shrine.

　He had neither a weapon, nor a shrine.

　So, his best bet was this; the plaque before him read “Moriya Shrine”. One he’d never quite heard of, and wondered if it was abandoned at all. Not the time to find out, really. Regardless, he passed through the torii leading to it and over the steps up to the entrance, and settled himself in front of a wooden box, made for offerings. 

　His temporary sleeping place couldn’t be more uncomfortable, but he could manage a small shut-eye at least.
