🙏 Why center in God....why be so vigilant and dedicated in a spiritual practice? Last week Connor and I avoided a car crash. Before any trip, whether it be by foot or by engine. I imagine peace, protection and prayers wherever I go. We were in the car heading to a mini vacation. It's a single lane highway and it was busy. We stopped multiple times to wait for people to turn etc. We went from 80km to 0 quickly, so 60 km felt safer. As we were stopped I glance in my rear mirror and see a blue minivan barreling towards us. I think, she is going way too fast to stop and she doesn't see that were stopped. At the last second, she (god, Angels, loved one's, the whole darn collective team. I think of the song "Jesus take the wheel") swerved to the right narrowly missing us and smashing our back end. I glanced over and she grabbed her chest and mouthed oh my God! Wherever she was, she was not present while driving! I'm grateful that nobody was hurt, of course I wanted to be angry! I felt a calm wave wash over me and said it's OK and were OK. This is a reminder to be present, peaceful, centered and protected wherever you go.
