Miracles Happen

Miracles happen every day, but somehow we overlook their stay. We take for granted the blessings we are given, and fail to notice because we are so driven When the baby was born and let out his first cry, he took a deep breath and didn’t have to try. No complications hampered this perfect moment, as the parents could feel their hearts being stolen. When the driver decided to obey the red light, and realized who she would have struck that wasn’t in sight. The old blind man slowly limped across the street, as he prodded the ground with his cane and aching feet. When a friend decided to share a dreaded experience, that provoked her to stay away from others to provide distance. The long lost friend listened with understanding in this moment, and both shed tears for the years lost for her fear of judgment. Miracles happen every day, and I will treasure them in their own unique way.
