Is Alix actually good?
Huge spoiler alert‼️
The point is that Alix is not protecting the timeline that turns out to be the best, but only protecting the timeline in which she exists as a bunnix.
The first appearance of bunnix is of her as an adult, that chapter being the reason she will be given the miraculous in the first place. From where we know that there is going to be a hawk moth until at least 10 years in the future. At this point we don't know how her power works, we only know that she enters a hole and appears in the time she desires. No reason to think the could know who hawk moth is.
The next appearance is in chat blanc. Instead of fixing the problem of Adrien discovering ladybug's identity because of the gift, he explicitly led her to fight chat blanc, traumatizing her that chat discovers her identity, losing trust in him and turning him more into a sidekick than her real partner (this causes too many problems later on). In this chapter we learn well how her miraculous works, being that she is practically omnipresent, being able to reveal hawk moth's identity to Marinette and not doing it because ✨Reasons✨.
Her next appearance is in Evolution. There, I don't have much to say; she gets paralyzed, and then Rabbit Noir and Ladybug solve the problem. Here, Mini Alix is officially designated as the one responsible for protecting the Rabbit Miraculous until they defeat the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous.
Then she briefly appears at the end, bringing reinforcements to Paris against the Miraculized. She could have gone to help Marinette, but whatever.
Her last appearance was in Miraculous London. Yes, she helps Ladybug prevent Lila from discovering her identity, but again, we see very clearly that if she wanted to, they could find out who took the Butterfly Miraculous and act on it, but again, they don't because ✨reasons✨. They also give Marinette an ambiguous answer about whether lying to the world to protect terrorists was right or not (obviously not! Kagami's mother is still at large and hasn't changed her objective, only her way to achieve it). Lastly, they make it clear that she really enjoys being Bunnix.
In conclusion, Alix could have ended the whole charade a long time ago, but she chooses not to. I don't know if she does it because she's afraid of disappearing or because she enjoys being Bunnix too much, but I don't think she's choosing the greater good.
What's your opinion?
