"Have you seen a black cat?" It was ironic that the one thing she couldn't ever find was her closest confidante: her cat Blair. One would think that an escape artist cat would be the perfect companion for someone who never had issues with finding lost things but Blair managed to sneak out of her apartment as well as under Miray's radar. "Or just a moving shadow?" Miray looked at them hopefully, her normally calm disposition ruffled.

"Doing this puts both of us in significant danger. If you want to proceed, I'll need to know why you need my services." Miray wanted to decline. From the first moment she met them, she wanted them out of her life. Being catapulted back into her childhood of constant vivid nightmares wasn't preferable. Most of the time her medication prevented her from picking up energies from random people on the street but something about them was too strong. "Why are you here?"

Miray shook her head as she stepped away from the waiter who had been explaining the appetizer in well-practiced detail. "They are indeed serving bubbles. Mignonette emulsion, meaning that even if I wanted to eat air, it's not vegetarian..." She said as her gaze roamed over the crowd in the hope that she would see someone with a normal hors d'oeuvre platter. "Remind me why we came to this expecting to eat?"
