Most of Congressman Eric Swalwell's (D-CA15) speech at the grand opening & ribbon cutting of Mirchi Cafe in Dublin this afternoon. He gave Congressional recognition to Chef Lisa Ahmad and her husband! He and his wife had just come in through SFO, and saw protesters still there fighting for the rights of detainees. After the event here, he posted to his congressional Facebook that he two of his staffers were there to give any help they could. Just posted again that he's joined the protest himself. Glad to know how strongly he will fight for all of his constituents!
