It had been about two and a half months now since Olivia had saved Mireya from a group of Arturo’s guys and since Mireya had started occupying Olivia’s guest room. The truth was, a lot had changed within Olivia since then. She had started to care about Mireya more than she was willing to admit. The last thing she wanted was for the Mexican to feel uncomfortable or trapped with her. She had remembered that the woman liked art, something that Rhona had attested to when she had worked for her and made sure Mireya was alright – more often than not the Mexican had visited a gallery and if Olivia remembered correctly she had once mentioned art was one of her own hobbies as well. And so Olivia had repurposed a corner of the penthouse and made somewhat of an art space out of it, something to help Mireya get creative and to make her feel more comfortable. Everything had arrived very early this Saturday morning and now it was all finished. Olivia had noticed that Mireya had woken up based on the bathroom door opening and shutting when she entered and left it again. She made her way over to the guest room, gently knocking at the door. “Mireya? Are you awake? I’d like to show you something.”
