Thank you!!
miricastor replied to your post: I cannot listen to Utada Hikaru’s Fantome album...
It’s a dark and hopeful sounding album. Really well done!
It’s so, so good and really comforted me about grieving over lost in my own life and thinking ahead to healing even when you don’t think you’ll be able to create or do again.
I hate that so much of her pain comes from the tragic loss of her mother though: there’s no salve for something that painful. I just hope that like anyone else, she’s able to move through grieving at her own pace.
Look what came in the mail @miricastor ! And on a Sunday, oddly enough.
Hi Jamie! I wanted to know if you still do reviews, and if so, what kind of books do you review?
Hi!!! I do still do reviews! I just happen to be VERY far behind O.O
I review whatever I read which tends to be mostly YA fantasy and contemporary, but I’m willing to read anything as long as it seems interesting :)

This is why you, me, and @sophiaslittleblog are all best black girls.
I’m so proud of @miricastor and @sophiaslittleblog. I can’t wait to join the self-published black girl ranks with two really great authors, both of whom have written in two of my favorite genres: urban fantasy and science fiction respectively.
Congrats girls on getting published! I can’t wait to spend my money on your books and share them with the world! I hope you celebrate your big acccomplishment: I certainly tip my hat to you!
You’re both constant inspirations!
