I had this done at the beginning of the month (for the most part) but I wanted to wait to post it. I actually wanted to add more to the background, but with my tablet acting up, I can’t until I can replace it.

Mission accomplished @aquaticember06 ♥♥♥

This one was to interpret my characters as plants. I don’t know that I did it the way it was intended, but I’m still pretty happy anyways.

It took me a bit to decide on plants that I feel like accurately represented these characters. I thought of typical ones- roses and the like, but it was too expected. Miri- bristly and unapproachable, rose? Nope.

So then I tried to look at aspects of each character- what they represent or aspects of their personality, or even their abilities.

Miri is obviously Nightshade. Nightshade has a really pretty, dark purple flower and can also kill you; it’s equally as dangerous as the elf, herself.

Nico was next. She’s a hunter/archer/ranger/tracker- whatever you want to call the class (I play wow, damnit- she’s a hunter to me xD)- but she’s kind of a glass cannon... so I felt like a delicate flower like a morning glory would best represent her.

Ris was actually the hardest to choose though. I tried to think of different aspects of his personality, his abilities and even his inspiration. I had a hell of a time picking. I literally googled dozens of plants- not just flowers, but plants in general, trying to decide what I felt would best suit him...

and I was listening to music. FoB started playing on my Spotify- Centuries.

“You’re a cherry blossom, you’re about to bloom. You look so pretty but you’re gone so soon.”

Minor spoiler for Nek(R)o :o

It fit him both for his abilities later in the story :X but also for the person that inspired him. I realized it was absolutely the plant to represent him which is why he’s drawn the way he is.
