"Distraction" - Sherlock podfic (or video-fic)
In May 2012 my 100 word drabble called "Distraction" was chosen for inclusion in Sherlock’s Home – The Empty House, a book published to raise funds for The Undershaw Preservation Trust, a charity trying to preserve the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Shortly afterwards a poll was run by the publishers for readers to choose their favourite story from the book and to my amazement my story won the poll.
The poll closed a year ago and my lovely friend Mirith Griffin decided to commemorate the event by doing a podfic – or, rather, a video-fic – of the story. You can view it here.

Benedict talks fanfiction
Talking about the relationship between Kirk, Spock and Bones: "If I talk about a relationship between two men in a drama, they're immediately 'at it'. The world wide inter-lie will just basically go splat. There's a fanfiction which has me and John Watson floating in space on a bed handcuffed to one another ... not, not, not, not just with handcuffs, either."
Someone's been reading Mirith Griffin's XO, methinks ...
I read this a while back and just found the fic again. Sherlock deletes what he thinks is not important and John tries to convinces him that it is not necessary. They get into a relationship and Sherlock deletes some memories because he thinks John will prefer him without the said memories. Well, it's more complicated than that... I like how the author showed how a Sherlock's past makes him the person that he is today. John and Sherlock are perfect in this fic.
It's a long fic with more than 80K of words. Would suggest downloading it to an ebook reader for a more comfortable read.

Seriously ignore the alien concept because it's funny, smart and so Johnlocky. Mirithgriffin's stories are intelligent and she writes Sherlock and John to perfection. It's their voice.
