Hi! I’m Mirjam!

I’m a Good Omens fanfic writer who also occasionally draws on colour pencils. I’m Finnish, over 30, accept any pronouns (she/her is fine) and try to stay out of drama. Follow me for romance, comedy and fluff! I also have a never ending queue of GO art on my Tumblr.

My most well known GO fanfic is Truth or Dare, and I’m currently obsessed with a longer story: Be Still My Soul -series (a human au set in Finnish history). I’m a bit of a history geek, and the fic has its own Tumblr blog where I share my extensive historical notes and background stuff.

WIP word game: laugh!

Oh boy okay apparently laugh/laughed/laughter occurs 12 times in this smut oneshot 😅 It's just some very happy sexy times alright?

From the wip currently titled Small Cock Appreciation Society: He was as near as certain as he could be that Crowley wouldn't laugh at or deride Aziraphale's shape, but a tiny worry pinched the back of his mind, telling him to expect a bit of disappointment, however brief before Crowley tried to conceal it, at the first sight of Aziraphale's genitals.

I'm really excited for this one! It's a human AU, and it's ridiculous and maybe overly sincere, but I just wanted to write a whole lot of body worship for small/unusual genitals, and fat bodies, and trans bodies, and scarred bodies. I might have this posted before the end of January

Crowley’s sigh woke Aziraphale from her thoughts, and for her embarrassment she realized she had been caressing her fingertips down her spine, all the way to the low cut fabric on the back of the dress.

Aziraphale dropped her hands as if burnt.

“It’s ready,” she said hastily, and snapped her fingers, miracling up a mirror in front of them.

Their eyes met in the reflection.

“What do you think?” Aziraphale asked, biting her lip nervously. She couldn’t help but notice her own reddened cheeks.

Mortifying.

Aziraphale drew a long breath through his nose. Crowley, of course it had to be Crowley. The new guy in the sales department, who would promise potential customers just about anything to close a deal. Arrogant, annoying – and wildly, stupidly attractive.

Aziraphale hated him.

Aziraphale is a stellar software architect and a project manager, who is so done with the sales department selling unrealistically scheduled and budgeted projects. And he definitely doesn't have a crush on anyone, thank you very much.

My FTH Fic for @ambrasue ! I had so much fun with this, and I really like how it turned out. It seems like others liked it too, since I’ve got so lovely comments on this! This fic has zero angst, trust me.

Hi! I hope you are doing well! I decided to spend my evening like Crowley, asking an important question from fellow GO writers! What's your current favourite story you yourself have written? Tell me why you like it!

Hi there Mirjam! 🧡 Thank you so much for this ask. It never gets old and every time I feel like giving a different answer. So that's what I'll do - I'm going to mention one of my less known fics instead of what I often consider to be my favourite ones.

Manuscripts Don't Burn is a GO The Master and Margarita AU that I wrote for the Good Omens Books Event (where creators needed to pick one novel and create a GO AU, or simply a GO fic, based on that.) It was a true challenge - it took me so long to untangle the plot and create a suitable parallel to both Bulgakov's masterpiece and to Good Omens itself, but I am still quite happy with the result. And what's more, it features incredibile cover art by @nadsdraws!!

Hmm, this is a cruel question! 🤔I love so many berries, and the answer really depends on my mood...

At the moment, though, I could really go for a bowl of fresh-picked raspberries.

FAN FICTION ASK GAME: 🎨 How would you describe your writing style? 🌹 What is your favorite kind of fan fiction to write?

🎨 How would you describe your writing style?

That's so tricky! I haven't been writing fiction for very long and still feel like I'm very new at it and finding my voice. Although I guess it's been nearly 2years since I started writing now?? That's wild. Also wild that I've posted 26 fics and have so many more wips lmao where did they all come from?

I think one thing I try to do in my writing is get as close as I can to one character's perspective. I prefer writing from their pov and emotions and understanding (or misunderstanding) than writing with a more omniscient/distant voice. I don't write tons of description for the setting or characters' appearances and I think I focus more on how they feel and what they doing.

I also mostly write fluff or smut or both. Sometimes crack. I like writing things that feel happy or comforting or silly, and I like incorporating those feelings into smut fics. idk how well I succeed all the time, but I like trying to make something be both sexy and funny or heart warming.

🌹 What is your favorite kind of fan fiction to write?

Hmmm another hard one! I love writing crack-smut. I love cackling to myself as I'm writing and wondering if writing X thing is a step too far into ridiculous territory and then doing it anyway. I also really love writing aftercare. Some of my favorite bits that I've written are aftercare scenes. I'm sucker for caretaking and coziness.
