Tbh at this point I might be low-key shipping SAM and Caleb. I couldn't really ship her with anyone before now because she was less than a year old, but now that she's about 18, I feel much more comfortable with the notion of her dating. And idk, there's just something about the two of them that I find interesting in a way that I don't with Caleb/Genesis or Caleb/Tarima.

Am I alone here?

Also, and this is just a personal preference, I like the idea of the hot male lead ending up with a girl who isn't as conventionally attractive as the other female characters. Dgmw, I think SAM is adorable and super cute, but she's not what American media tends to hold up as being attractive. I think that sort of representation would be really good for viewers.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not saying at all that I think she's unattractive, I'm just aware of the opinion my culture holds about women's appearance. I've spent my whole life being bombarded with it and dealing with the self esteem issues that it engenders. Which is one of the reasons I'd really like to see SAM and Caleb as endgame.
