drawing has been incredibly difficult for me lately. it’s not art block, it’s just a terrible depression. But, something amazing happened. My brother sculpted and 3D printed an incredibly detailed statue of Miro, one of my most beloved OCs, as a special Christmas present for me. Holding a character I spent 12 years of my life scribbling on paper and writing about in my hands was. Emotional. It shook the artist in me awake in a very real and painful way.

I’ll share photos of the sculpt soon! My brother is an incredibly talented artist and I love and cherish him so much. I can’t wait to paint it! Until then, Here’s a quick sketch of Miro, taking a flight with Damian, their mate. Hopefully, I can keep this spark alive long enough to see this piece finished.
