He ain’t seen her in a while. Had he forgotten about her? Not entirely, but when he felt her, actually felt her, there was this odd drop in his stomach. One he couldn’t place. Wasn’t entirely fear but it certainly wasn’t lacking in some of that sentiment. And then he feels cold lips press against his cheek and it all comes back to him what he should feel.
Annoyance.
He jerks away, wiping his face vigorously where she had kissed it.
