A page turner you cannot put down.
My review: (5*) I read the first book in this series and found it amazing. I loved the idea of a group of women who are unofficially collaborating with Scotland Yard when women were not allowed to be enrolled in the police yet.
When I got this ARC my expectations were high and this book met all of them. It is a solid mystery, full of twists and turns and red herrings, that keep you guessing till the end.
This is an enjoyable and entertaining read, I read the book as fast as I could and couldn’t put it down. It was great to meet again the cast of characters, see the evolution in their relationship and how this well written and strong women, with the collaboration of some men, were able to solve the mystery
A very good book, I look forward to reading the next installment. Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Mirror Books for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
