Doing a self-drive to Milford Sound has so many benefits! First, you get boats with less crowds. Many of the buses arrive around noon so getting there before then means much better views and photos. Second, you get to take you time along the drive and stop at amazing places like the Mirror Lakes! The Mirror Lakes reflect the gorgeous Earl Mountains.
