ok but how did you manage to meet vale gurl?????

soooo, it's actually kind of easy to see riders in these kinds of events! for example, i bumped into arthur leclerc 3 times yesterday alone (sweetest guy, doesn't know he exists, but love him anyway 🥺) Waited for Vale by the barriers near the garage after FP among other ppl! He managed to stop by and was very kind, taking selfies and signing things! Only struggle: this romagna heatwave is brutal, got sunburned despite SPF + parasols and...again, it's worth it for mama vale, but also very hard, esp if you're not adequately equipped! plan was the pit walk + autograph thing but that's a completely different vibe ??? way faster, way more chaotic, you basically get 1.5 seconds of eye contact if you're lucky, and that's IF the rider isn't already being swarmed bc he's popular. which, you know, he is.

another thing i feel the need to specify is that fridays are always less crowded, today's queue was waaaaaay bigger, just keep it in mind! as a general rule, it's better to be there on friday if you're autograph/photo hunting.

anyway 10/10 would suffer through that hell again for this. no thoughts just paddock brain i guess?????

+++ if you like motorsport but want a more low-key experience, and especially if you're ON A TIGHT BUDGET, these events are ideal. especially at gorgeous circuits like mugello or misano 🥺🥺 you get a taste of the paddock energy, meet people who are into it, and just have fun. it won't be motogp or f1, but it's still totally worth it for what you pay!
