ah-- could he really do that? the magi’s words settled over him, on his shoulders and washed away. sinbad away from him, not enough to have his back facing judal, but he molten golden gaze seemed almost unforgiving. but really, it was more like a internal battle, a thought process, kill him? sure, judal was a problem here and there. how he was connect to them, the things that happened in parthevia, although not directly involved, the other was still part of it.

the king had no interest on placing that solely on judal, sinbad both hated and not hated the younger. he’s offered, and would offer him a chance. so killing him, would completely go against any past intentions he had, although things have changed. his gaze remained rather cool, calm, and the smirk or smile that came with a promise of a challenging fight wasn’t there.
“that’s different from your usual words, judal,” sinbad uttered, “i usually hate to disappoint, but i’m not in the habit of killing people.” not if it wasn't needed, not if he could help it and not judal.
