Still not sure what I'm doing with Manga Studio 5, just grabbed one of my random monsters at random and colored it to start getting used to stuff.

Moar Pentalic. Started this before my volunteer shift, but only got out the head, shoulders, and arms, and then promptly had no idea what to do with the rest of it. Brought it home, mulled over it for a little while, then suddenly BAM. Crystalline tortoise-taur out of nowhere.
Might make a good green/blue form for this fellow. Or I could just make it a separate character for something else. He's kinda grown on me.
Randomly decided to quick-color up the first of these. Experimenting with coloring in Photoshop 7 instead of OpenCanvas. Gradients are fun, the ability to mask and use opaque layers is useful, but I'm not sure they're worth losing the pressure sensitivity and blending that OC has.
Not sure if I'm gonna keep using Photoshop for this, or even if I'm gonna continue to color these up at all.
I liked today's before-shift ballpoint sketch enough to throw some color on it. It took longer than it should have given how scratchy it is and all the mistakes and stuff, I just got really lazy at the end.
What started as a speedpaint study of a random deserty landscape turned into a loose-ish speedpaint of this creature I imagined striding about the buildings downtown while bored on a car ride.
An actual picture with a background from me, the world must be ending.
My mom scared the crap out of me by standing just behind me in the dark watching me draw this while I had earphones in and then suddenly asking what it was without warning.
Another pen sketch from before my volunteer shift. I half-wanted someone to look over my shoulder and ask what it was, so I could say "It's an angel" and when told "No" respond with "Why not, have you ever seen one?"
But the more I look at it the more the multitude of pipes make me think it could be one of my Rhebics. The only two who are as of yet completely undefined are Oracle and Anarchy, though the many eyes could make this an alternate form of Sorrow. Alternatively, it could be a straight up angel and a relative of Rheb himself.
A bit lazier than normal (which is saying a lot for this impromptu 'series' of already fairly lazy red sketches), but still fun none the less. The last one is based rather vaguely off another drawing a did back in college in my Pentalic.
