tgaa 1 review!!! spoilers for the 1st game ofc (dont spoil tgaa 2 please!)

i felt like tgaa 1 is amazing as a set-up, but as a standalone game it falls a bit. the big bad dies before we get anything super duper satisfying, and we dont get a super cool killer breakdown except for 1-1

i LOVEE the defendants in this game (except mcgilded he can get fucked) and ginas sooo likeable

i think its funny how ryunosukes like: "maybe one day... Ill see her again" like the box art dosent have a presumably aged up design for gina hehe

i think the joke abt windibank threatening to shoot himself got old QUICK idk i think its strange after a bit

all the cases are... fine? i suppose. their all really wonderful, but they dont stand out to me really...

kinda upset that the manuscript wasnt yet explained/ used in game but tgaa 2 will prolly explain it

1-5 (i felt sooo smart about figuring out the morse code. also gina my favorite girlie is there!!!)

1-4 (natsumes story is genuinely really sad and gets you to empathize with him which i appreciate. it genuinely delves into the racism in the game)

1-3 (fuuuck mcgilded but ginas there. and like. sets up A Lot for the story)

1-1 (took sooooo long, but finding out abt the defendant AFTER his death is soooo cool. Chad John H. Wilson vs Chud Cindy Stone /JJJJ)
