I would give more comments on fics, but my comments always end up as "awooga me likey" and "nose bleed pixiv elephant emote" instead of "I walk this mortal plane of day to day life to be gifted a seed of pure passion that lets me know that it's worth another day to read something like this again" kinda expression to let the author know I thoroughly enjoyed their work.
I keep all my bookmarks private on AO3 because I fear that the author will think I'm rating the fic when I leave shit like '7/12' or just a number '10' when in reality that is the chapter I left off on.
I may not be a published AO3 author, but I bear its curse.

I got so pissed off by a fanfic that finished on a cliffhanger, I went into the comment section to praise the author in hopes of them writing more.
